Dried strawberry butter cookies

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup dried strawberries, cubed

Preheat oven at minimum temperature. Beat eggs. Add sugar, butter and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.

Add strawberries and blend. Gradually add flour and knead until smooth.

Sprinkle flour on countertop for dough not to stick. Roll out dough 2-inches thick and cut cookies.

Place on buttered baking sheet and bake at 300°F for 15 minutes.
